Again Bianca has done a wonderful job of taking us into the lives of our draconian knights and dragon's. The new twist that has been thrown at us in this book has me speculating what the next book will be about. With the hint that was give in firecracker maybe the next book will be about William and if not maybe the the twins Collin and trey. I am so glad that the series is continuing and eagerly await the next book.
I have read every book in this series and I love them but they just don't seem to come fast enough for when I am just done with one, I can't wait for the next book to come out. The characters are fresh and well developed and the story, although finished with a mystery and cliff hanger, is well written. I love this author's dragon series and the dragons themselves have so much character and an intricate part of the story. Isabelle is not some love sick fool and can actually think for herself and the men, Bear and Robert have dimension to their characters as well. As I said, I can't wait until the next one comes out. They are too few and in between for my taste.
I'm a die hard fan, love the way all storylines run together. They hold my attention, for example when Isabella, is brought into the meeting room and she must share knowledge of Halley' s Well. When introduced to knights and their dragons as well as their wives, each storyline comes to mind as the the introduction goes around the table. NOW, that's what keeps me reading Bianca D'Arc! I will be reading another book and something will 'click' a read memory, and then I find myself rereading that book later. To be totally honest, I should say 're-'re-'re-'re-'re-'re-reading simply because I'm to a) point of not being able to remember how many times.
I stumbled upon this book first and became entranced with the world of dragons Bianca D'Arc has created. I eagerly grabbed the whole series reading them one after the other and then again rereading this wonderful book again with a familiar eye understanding the relationships revisited here. I have to say, though this book stands alone, it become more when read within the full series. I truly cannot wait to see what happens next with all these knights and their ladies and dragon partners as well as where the rest of the royal princes go and find their true mates. Thank you for creating such a wonderfully unique and entrancing world. I can't wait to visit again and again. This is another world I will enjoy revisiting many times.
I have read all the books in the Dragon Knights Series, and this one did not disappoint. Robert, Bernard, Isabelle, Growloranth and Tildeth are the perfect grouping of dragons, knights and mate. Ms. D'Arc keeps coming up with ways to bring the knights together with their mates, ensuring that the dragon mates can also be together. When I started reading the book I kept wondering what Isabelle's origins were and I was glad that by the end of the story that was cleared up. I really hope to find out what happens next. This was a perfect snow day read.
Robert while out on a mission find a young women crying by a water fall that just draws him in to take care of her. But when she can speak to the dragon that just makes him more evolved to keep her safe and to get to know her better. And now she will have to meet bear and his dragon because they are a fighting pare because their dragons are mated. But then trouble comes and they have to get her to safety. There are still more things to learn. So enjoy the read ! !
I love the Dragon night series. Hidden Dragon is a nice addition to it. I loved Growly and Tilly, their knights Robert and Bear were pretty awesome too. Their mate Isabelle is likeable, and adapted well into the Lair. She is a great addition to the Border Lair. A lot of knights, their lady's, and dragons from the previous books make appearances, love that. This book is more of a side story, but does provide a set up for furthering the Draconian alliances. A fun, fast, and smoken hot read.
Hooray! A new book in the Dragon Knights series. Bianca D'Arc always writes a good story. It begins in the border village of Halley's Well, Draconia. Isabelle is alone after the death of her mother and living in a village that even after 10 years never truly accepted her and her mother. Although they do take advantage of her healing talents for the livestock and her help with the harvests. Isabelle is weeping at her favorite spot on the river bank when a knight and his dragon discover her. Soon they are joined by his knight partner and his dragon and the story starts to unfold. You really need to start with Maiden's Flight in order to understand the entire story although you can catch on fairly quickly that the knights and their dragon partners are also spies trying to keep track of infiltrating skiths and enemy Skithdron soldiers. They take care of Isabelle, discover that the village headman is a traitor to Draconia and take Isabelle to the safety of the Lair. Discover Isabelle's unknown ancestry and her healing talent. Enjoy a true love story where you finish the story with a smile. HEA of course.
